Leadership qualities
Leadership qualities are closely related to an individual’s personality. The more genuine one becomes, the easier it is to wake-up dormant leadership qualities and live them. These qualities cannot be learned at school. They are learned through experience, and most importantly, are emotionally anchored. Leadership qualities include, but are not limited to, the following actions:
Set an example and live accordingly
Specify goals
Communicate openly and honestly
Stand up for a person or cause
Make clear decisions
Motivate self and others
Have the courage to be humble
Leadership qualities and an authentic personality provide the foundation for authentic leadership.
